Following the Trend...

Picture from Militaryfail.net

Welcome to the "New" Army

I was bored after WLC today, so I came up with this:

Things I want to do at Fort Hood

I'm sure there's probably plenty more to do off-post, but this is based on me being confined to post without being able to drink:

Weapons Cleaning

Finally had a chance to sit down and do a comic while I'm in Pre-MOB. I know this is going to lead to some furious Airmen, but hell with it.

The Army Garrison Headgear Replacement Program

Sadly enough, some of these would actually be a decent alternative...

They say his ACU's will blend into anything...

Beating a Dead Horse

An actual question I got... I figured "Why not?" I also threw in a joke about this new PT test they're designing, which will now include such events as "The Rower" and the "Standing Long-Jump"(Not even joking about that part...look it up).

The Profiles

Once again, based on a completely true story from my experiences with the AIT Soldiers at Fort Rucker. Good thing 1SG Topson keeps a close eye on his company...

Getting Home

1SG Topson always looks after his Soldiers. What better way to sober up than a 4-mile run to the barracks while calling cadence? Have a happy and safe New Years, Folks!

Soldier has been diagnosed with Tiny Heart Syndrome (THS). No running/marching/pushups/situps/moving for 30 days.

A Day at the Engagement Skills Trainer (EST 2000)

Doesn't it seem like anytime something is wrong with your weapon on an EST (Which, based on my personal experience, is far too common), the civilians that work there seem to take it personally when you try and suggest that it may be their precious system, and not you that is causing your virtual rounds to hit the dirt seven lanes over? Now, I'm no ballistics engineer, but I'm pretty sure that my trigger squeeze, nor my breathing would cause my virtual bullet to do that.

FLR Store

Make sure to take a look at the FLR store (use the link to the right) You can get a lot of the popular comics as mousepads, etc. Also, make sure you pick up your "Intentionally blank" shirts, mugs, and mousepads!

The Corporal

She may just be an E-4, but CPL Slane takes her job VERY seriously. In case you have trouble reading the Developmental Counseling Form (You may need to zoom in) , it states "SPC Shamsheld, on 18 November 2010,  while attempting to ask the S-3 a question, you addressed CPL Slane with "Hey" in an extremely disrespectful manner. After CPL Slane corrected you by telling you that she was a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO), and that you needed to address her as "Corporal Slane" and to stand at parade rest while addressing her, you replied with the statement "Well aren't you just precious?" This is extremely disrespectful and will NOT be tolerated in this Company. In addition, this is a direct violation of Article 91 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, pertaining to insubordinate conduct towards a Warrant Officer, Non-Commissioned Officer, or Petty Officer. This truly reflects poorly not only on yourself, but also..."

Inprocessing Briefing

Poor Privates take any chance they can to land a quick power-nap.  As a side note, I just wanted to say that under this TRADOC schedule, it may take some time for me to put out comics, so I will be drawing them whenever I can afford a chance.
